WHY ARE DETAILED PLANS BENEFICIAL?
For family houses in Hungary, there is no trend of ordering execution plans, although it could save the builder from a lot of headaches and even serious financial damage.
The content requirements outlined in the basic legislation for building permit documentation may not necessarily be sufficient for the construction of a building, even at the level of a family house.

Practice shows that the builder, after or even during the permitting process, contacts the contractor with whom they want to realize their house. However, the contractor receives only the permitting documentation and prepares a quote based on that. In this case, technical requirements and content not detailed in the permitting plans are either not priced at all or are priced based on the contractor's individual ideas, leading to serious disagreements later on.
For family houses, it is not necessary to order a complete execution plan documentation, considering that the complete execution plan costs roughly twice as much as the permitting plan. Therefore, we recommend ordering only the more complex or deemed necessary plan sheets and detailed drawings for some specific reasons.
